Broc was baptized a member of "The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints" on Saturday, May 1, 2010. The baptism was held at our church. All of the members of both sides of our family were able to make it along with a few of our closest friends. It was such a special day! I was asked to give a talk on the gift of the Holy Ghost during the opening exercises for the Stake Baptism's. After the opening exercises were over they divided the children by wards for the actual baptism. Broc was the only child in our ward, and we were also the last ward to go, so we were able to stay in the same room for the baptism and conformation. This made it a little bit more personal and intimate. We feel so blessed to have been surrounded by all of the people in our lives that we love so much.
We are so proud of Broc for the decision that he made to be baptized. He is such an amazing kid! He is such a great example for all of the kids around him, especially his little brother. We are so lucky to be his parents. Did I mention how handsome he looked in his new suite and tie???
Ahhh - I remember when the little guy was...well a *little* guy. I just had a flashback to sitting by you guys at church when he was like a year old and how stinking cute he was. Not much has changed - he's still a cutie. Congratulations to him and you for his baptism :)
Jesse and I were married on December 14, 2000. We have been married for almost 10 years. We have two beautiful sons together. Broc is 8 and Brady is 5. We have such a wonderful little family and are very thankful for our many blessings. We recently moved to Charleston SC. Both Jesse and I work for an amazing surgeon here. We are crazy in love and head over heals for our two sweet boys. Life is busy, but we are loving every minute of it!
